The
Cook family has been providing trusted funeral services for more than 15
years and is honored to be the owners of Cook Family Fun
eral Home
on Bainbridge Island – continuing the funeral home’s
tradition of being
a family owned and operated business. The funeral home was established
in the 1940’s. From the Owyens, the Hess’ and the Kass’ families and now
to David and Doreen Cook and family, service with the family touch
continues.
David
was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa and Doreen was born in
Pullman, Washington and later moved with her family to settle in
Placerville, California.
David
graduated from The University of Utah and The San Francisco College of
Mortuary Science where he served as student body president. He also
volunteered to serve a two year/ full-time mission for his church in the
Sacramento, California area.
David
currently serves as a board member for The Bainbridge Island Chamber of
Commerce. Doreen graduated from Eldorado High School. The Cooks have
five children, who currently attend elementary thru high school on
Bainbridge Island. The Cook family lives in the community and they care
about the people who live here also.
The Cook Family Funeral Home offers a full spectrum of funeral and
cremation services.
Complete funeral services in churches or other facilities can be
arranged. A family does not need to be a member of a church or
organization in order for David to arrange for use of a facility. The
funeral home is available for viewings and smaller services. Those who
prefer an alternative to traditional service will find many options
available for consideration. They also offer cremation services of all
varieties. Cook Family Funeral Home is experienced in arranging
services and interments throughout the country and forwarding a loved
one to anywhere in the world. The Cooks also assist in the operation of
the cemeteries on Bainbridge Island. They have the answers and direction
you need in a time of need.
The
Cooks are your neighbors in Kitsap County working together as a
community. They are here for you. Let’s support each other.

David Cook and his family – wife Doreen, and
children Ashton, Jordan, Sidney, Chloe and Sophia – live in Winslow.
