Elaine Christensen Field

Elaine Field passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. She was born in Los Angeles, California to Esther and Milton Christensen on January 13, 1933.

Elaine was beautiful and elegant, a loving (and fun-loving) wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, whom she was affectionately known by her family as "Eee". She was a powerful supporter of her family, her faith, and her country. Elaine was extremely creative and talented in the home arts. She excelled in cooking, calligraphy, knitting, sewing, and decorating. These talents were reflected in her home, beautified by her year-round decor.

One of her greatest joys was using her creative skills in the service of her church family. She was well known over the years for the hundreds of creative church display windows that adorned the church hallways, celebrating the life of the church and her love of the Lord.

Elaine will be especially remembered for her beautiful soprano voice, and she was a lifelong member of church choirs. Whether as a soloist, leading childrens' choirs or singing sacred choral music every Sunday in church, she brought us all joy with her gifted singing voice.

Elaine is survived by her adoring husband, John, daughters Vicki (Richard), Heidi (Keith), son Jeff (Sue), granddaughters Melissa, Kaleigh, Kara, and her four beloved great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Eric. A beautiful life, long and well-lived, she is now home at rest with her Savior, Jesus Christ.
