In Memory of Paul L. Blair
Paul L. Blair passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 30, 2026. He was born to Leonard E Blair and Ena H Blair in Oakland, California, in 1941. Paul graduated from the Montana School of Mines (Montana Tech) in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering. Paul was an Eagle Scout who could fix anything.
He is survived by daughters Kate Nack and Laura Blair-Gano, grandchildren Emily, Paul, and Rowan, his sister Lenore Laurenson, his cousin Lorna Hoff, and many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Pauline Judy Blair.
His kindness, adventurous spirit, generosity, and mischievous sense of fun touched everyone around him. He loved travel, mining, adventurous cuisine, fishing, target shooting, and holiday get-togethers—but above all, he loved his family. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
A graveside memorial service will be held on September 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Poulsbo Cemetery, 20002 Caldart Ave NE. The service will be followed by a wake at The Salish Bar, 18804 Front St NE, Poulsbo.
