David Scott Hill

d. July 29, 2010

passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. He was born on January 22, 1962 and was 48 years of age. David was a resident of Suquamish, WA and was a member of the Suquamish Tribe. He was an engineer with the Suquamish Clearwater Casino and worked also as a handyman. Dave enjoyed hanging out at the Troller Tavern in Suquamish. He was born at the family home in Indianola, WA. He lived the majority of his life in West Seattle where he had numerous friends. Growing up, he loved hiking, biking or bussing his way across town with his brothers and friends; especially his brother Mark and his BFF Andy Grindulis, always looking for that great adventure. He was the family comedian, always coming up with daily jokes and bringing joy to those around him. He loved Rock-N-Roll, women, watching his favorite TV shows and doing his daily crossword puzzles. His children meant the world to him and he also enjoyed his cats and dog. He loved all his family and friends. He left us in classic Dave fashion, without complaint, knowing that we all loved him. He is survived by his children; Dallas David and Savannah Lynne Hill of Seattle, WA, mother Lorna Hill (Webster) of Suquamish, siblings; Bryan Gladstone (Jules) of Port Orchard, Cly "Boo" Gladstone, Mark Lewis (Lisa), Bardow Lewis, Carey J. Webster, Matthew Hawk (Kim), George Hill Jr. (Debra) and Angel Hill all of Suquamish, WA. He also leaves behind many other loving family and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his father George Hill Sr. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 12 noon to 1:45 PM, followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at The Suquamish Community House, 7235 NE Parkway, Suquamish, WA 98392. A reception will follow.
