Diane L. Mcfarlane

passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at her home on Bainbridge Island, Washington.She was born on March 5, 1943 in Seattle, Washington to Erik and Eva (Ubel) Jackson. She was 72 years of age. Dianne was a third generation islander and will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, her love of teaching, playing the piano, scrap booking and spoiling her grandchildren.She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jesse; daughters Lisa McFarlane, Lily Barr, sons Frank and Ted McFarlane, grandchildren, Mac, Noah, Jordy, Korah, Cameron and Ben. Dianne was preceded in death by her parents and brother's Arnold and David Jackson.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 4 to 7 PM at Cook Family Funeral Home on Bainbridge Island. The Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday, September 2nd at 1:30 PM at Port Blakely Cemetery on Bainbridge. A reception will follow at the Bainbridge Island Senior Center.
