Eric Erin Buck

Eric Erin Buck (aka Mr. Handsome, Erico Suave’) was born on June 13th, 1966 in Pontiac, Michigan. He was fifty-three years old when he passed on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at home, surrounded by his loved ones on Bainbridge Island, WA.

Eric engaged in a Battle Royale against Multiple Myeloma for six years to the day. Eric was a humble character, loyal friend, servant of Christ, a master storyteller who embraced humor to overcome difficulties, and an amazing wonderful, supportive husband and father who loved his wife and daughters immensely.

Eric was raised in Michigan, adopted by a lovely couple, and had a sweet childhood. He married his high school sweetheart, Amber Love, on September 30, 1989, at Pierce Stocking Lookout in Glen Arbor, Michigan. They moved to Bainbridge Island to start their lives together and their business of twenty-five years, A&E Window Cleaning. They built community through their business; his favorite part of the job was customers becoming friends. He found his biological parents, and over the years, enjoyed a relationship with them and his half-siblings. He raised two beautiful girls and loved his wife of thirty years. Those who knew him were blessed, and those who didn’t know him, missed out.

Eric is survived by his wife Amber Love Buck, his two daughters, Milo Buck and Kegan Buck, both of Bainbridge Island. His (adoptive) parents Glenn Buck (MI) & Marietta Buck (MI), (biological) John Kaufman (MI), preceded in death MaryAnn Ford (MI). Siblings Glen Ford (MI), Brooke Dey (WI), Cully Kaufman (MI), Allie (John) Austin (MI).

Eric's family wishes to extend their thanks to the loving nurses at Harrison Oncology in Poulsbo, WA, especially Dr. Jain.
