Erik Christopher Larsen

beloved son of Shirley and Richard Larsen of Bainbridge Island passed away at his home in Poulsbo, Washington on Sunday, September 16, 2007.He was born on November 16, 1964 at Sharps Hospital in San Diego, California. Born into a military family, Erik resided in various locations during his early childhood years, including London, England.He attended Bainbridge High School, Olympic College and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Erik had a great love of the outdoors and enjoyed his many fishing trips to Eastern Washington. Physical fitness was important to him and he could often be found working out at one of the fitness clubs in the Poulsbo area.He was married to Ginger Nelson and during their marriage they resided in Suquamish, Washington.Survivors include his parents, two sisters, Karen (Michael) Petosa of Rockport, Washington and Kirsten Larsen of Honokaa, Hawaii ; four nephews, Shane Larsen-Davis, of Honokaa, Hawaii, Nick and Josh Petosa of Rockport, Washington, Travis Larsen-Helbing of Honokaa, Hawaii and one niece, Sascha Larsen-Helbing of Honokaa, Hawaii.A Memorial service will be held at 2PM on September 29, 2007 at the Port Madison Lutheran Church located at 14000 Madison Avenue NE, Bainbridge Island, Washington [Map].
