passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at her home in Poulsbo, Washington. She was born on June 15, 1916 in Deer trail, Colorado to Frank W. and Mary A. Harn. She was 94 years of age. Frances worked for many years as a school bus driver for North Kitsap. She also worked for Martha and Mary Health Care Services. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, animals and her family. Most of the people in her area knew her as Grandma Shipley. She moved to Poulsbo in 1951 where she lived her life and touched the lives of many. She will be missed by her family. She is survived by her son Terry Shipley (Joy) of Poulsbo, WA,her adopted son Alan Bowman and his family of Bainbridge Island, WA, sister Lois Bailey and her family of Colorado and Lake Havasu, AZ, grandchildren; Michael Shipley (Angela) of Lacey, WA, Rodney Shipley (Melissa), Doug Hagen (Phyllis) of Suquamish, WA, Karla Nolen (Michael) of Poulsbo, WA, and Lori Hagen of Kingston, WA. Also great grandchildren;Josh Shipley, Ryan Shipley of Lacey, WA, Osha Hagen (Adam Dahl) of Suquamish, WA Morgan, Kaitlyn and Emilie Shipley all of Kennewick, WA, Nichol Olson, Nathan Kvinsland (Jacquelyn), Bobbie Nolen of Poulsbo, WA, Joshua Hagen (Star Ives) of Kingston, WA and Joshua and Jerome Vaughn of Hansville, WA, also great-great-grandchildren; Kallana, Eric, Nassyaha and Dayton Dahl, also Dakota, Presley and Payton Hagen all of Suquamish, WA, Brennon Hagen of Kingston, WA, Taylor Johnson of Suquamish, WA and Phoenix and Sephiroth of Poulsbo, WA. Frances was preceded in death by her husband William Ivan Shipley, daughter Alta Elaine Harman and her parents Frank and Mary Harn.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Poulsbo, WA. The Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 AM at the church. A reception will be held after the Mass at the church hall. The crypt side service will be held on Friday, July 16th at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Bremerton, WA.
