was born April 20, 1931 in Stuttgart, Germany and died June 27, 2008 in Bremerton, Washington.He came to the United States at the age of six with his parents and lived in Los Angeles until March, 2008. He was a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles and Loyola University Law School, Los Angeles, and was a veteran of the United States Army. Upon graduation from law school, he established a long and successful law practice in the San Fernando Valley.A lifelong lover of classical music, he was a performer in the Los Angeles High School Orchestra, the LAUSD All City Orchestra, the Los Angeles Junior Symphony and the UCLA marching band. He was also a long time contributor to the Los Angeles Opera. In March, 2008, he moved to Bainbridge Island, Washington; relishing its forests and enjoying nearby family.He is survived by his beloved children: Lyndon Braun of Brookline, MA; Stephen Braun and his wife Renee of Bainbridge Island, WA; daughter Laura Shotzbarger and her husband Harold of Saugus, CA; his grandchildren Harrison Shotzbarger, Hunter Shotzbarger, Rachel Shotzbarger, Amanda Braun, Megan Braun, Samantha Braun, Kayla Horwich, and his wife, Susan.His ashes will be scattered in Puget Sound.Private family services will be held. Donations may be made in his name to the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra or the Wellness Community. Arrangements by Cook Family Funeral Home.
