Janet Storm Noble

passed away suddenly on November 15th after a very brief bout with cancer at the age of 59.Born on February 15, 1948 and raised in West Los Angeles, Janet graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in Art. Art was her lifelong passion.She married in 1976 and lived briefly in Portland, Oregon before settling in the Bay Area, where she lovingly raised her two children and was active in their schools. In 1998 she moved to Calistoga, CA to fully engage her artistic side. She became very involved in the thriving local art scene. She displayed and sold many of her abstract oil-based paintings. She was also deeply involved with the design of her house and she showed it through a charity event called "Kitchen in the Vineyards"---an event she later managed. Janet moved to Bainbridge Island in the spring of 2005 mostly to be closer to her children and companion Roger.She was loved by all and made an impression on everyone who met her. She is survived by her daughter Leigh and her son Evan, her soul mate Roger, her amicably separated husband Ray, her two sisters Nancy and Sandy with whom she was very close, her nieces and nephews and most importantly her two dogs Boon and Aussie.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 5:00 PM at Grace Episcopal Church, 8595 NE Day Road on Bainbridge Island.
