John V. Mabe

passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at his home in Indianola, Washington. He was 70 years of age and a resident of Indianola.John was born on August 9, 1937 in Suquamish, WA to Garnet and Hazel Mabe.He was a member of the VFW and served in the US Airforce in 1958-1963 with an honorable discharge.He is survived by his brothers: Lewis Mabe, Bill Mabe, Sister: Loni McDonald, Sons: John Wallace, Mark, James, John, Daughters: Elaine, Shawn, Martha and numerous grand children, great grand children, cousins and great friends. He was preceded in death by both parents, sisters: Rose, Edna, and Myrte, brothers: Sam, Bill and Skip. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at 11:00 am in the Suquamish Tribal Center Gym. Interment will take place at the Chief Sealth Cemetery. A dinner will be served at the Tribal Gym following the service. Everyone is welcome.Arrangements entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home.
