Jon C. Resager

Jon Christian Resager of Bainbridge Island passed away Wednesday November 28, 2018 at Harrison Medical Center Bremerton, WA. Born in Mineola, New York on January 30, 1948, he was the son of the late Christian and Marie (Gallagher) Resager.
Jon spent his early years in Floral Park, NY. His family moved to the mountains in Georgia and he graduated from Habersham High School in Clarkesville, Georgia. He began college at Georgia Tech. but when his draft number came up, he enlisted in the US Marine Corp. He was a Marine combat veteran in Vietnam1969-1970. Upon his discharge, Jon worked in civil service while continuing his engineering degree at Cal Poly. He retired from US Government work as an electronics engineer.
Jon is survived by his wife Barbara, their children Cherlynn, Elizabeth, and William, his brother Norman, and his niece Julie.
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
