Lavelle Gloria (Swanson) Mousset

also known as "Nana" and "Little Mama" was born May 12th,1916 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to Lena (Wahlstrand) and Albert Swanson.Lavelle was raised in Seattle and graduated from Queen Anne High School in 1934. She married Arthur Mousset February 1938. Lavelle enjoyed traveling many places with her daughter, Carolyn before her passing in 1986.She loved going to museums, cultural events, donating to charities, and adored churches such as St. James Cathedral in Seattle. She enjoyed lunch dates and browsing antique shops. She loved dressing up, celebrating holidays, watching World Wrestling and her soap opera, "The Young and The Restless." Her favorite movie was "Zorba the Greek" and favorite actor Anthony Quinn. She loved her cat "Cindy" that kept her company for 16 years.Lavelle was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Mousset in 1967, sister, Esther in 1976 and beloved daughter, Caroyln Ebert in 1986. She is survived by 1 son, David Mousset of Seabeck, 3 grandchildren Chris Ebert of Tacoma, Joni Coscia of Georgia and Jessica (David) Cook of Port Orchard and 5 great-grandchildren Rachel, Shayne, Haley, Matthew and David.
