Lila Ellen Williamson

December 3, 1925 — October 14, 2018

Lila Ellen Williamson, 92, a Bainbridge Island resident for over 60 years, passed away peacefully Sunday October 14, 2018. Born in Lewistown, Montana December 3, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Earl Claude and Winnie (McNeil) Rife. Lila was a graduate of Roy High School Class of 1944 and was named Salutorian. She would later go to work for Boeing as a riveter from 1944 to 1945 as one of the original "Rosie the Riveters". In 1947, Lila went to work at Camp Dickie and in 1968 she became the bookkeeper for the Alaskan Native Industries where she stayed until her retirement in 1990. Preceded in death by her son Scott, she is survived by 2 sons, 2 daughters, 1 brother and 2 sisters, along with 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
