died peacefully at her home on April 27, 2010. Lisa was born at Swedish Hospital on July 11, 1955. She resided in Seattle until 1963 when her family moved to Bainbridge Island. Lisa graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1973. In 1973 she married Michael Dolph I. They had two children. As a single mom, Lisa attended Seattle Community College where she earned a RN Nursing degree. She worked for several years in Seattle area Hospitals including Swedish, University Medical Center and Harborview where she earned a Co "Nurse of the Year" for achievement in writing a manual for the families of brain injury patients. After retirement from her nursing career, Lisa attended Seattle University where she accomplished three years of studies in English and Social work over a period of five years prior to becoming ill. She spent the last few weeks of her life enjoying and having fun meeting new caring friends as a member of the Bainbridge Island Sr. Center, her last refuge. She was the loving daughter of Gilbert and Martha Jacobsen, and Brother Christopher Jacobsen all of whom survived her including her children; Martha Carrie and granddaughter Kyla; her son, Michael Dolph II and her former husband, Michael Dolph I, with whom she kept a lasting friendship. She also leaves behind an extended family. Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM on May 8, 2010 at Bainbridge Bethany Lutheran Church, 7968 Finch Rd NE. Memorial gifts may be made to the Bainbridge Island Sr. Center or U of W Medical Center.
