Patricia Anne Putman

October 18, 1933 — March 20, 2022

Patricia (Pat) Putman passed away peacefully in her home on Bainbridge Island, on March 20, 2022, at the age of 88. Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, who passed in 2006, and her parents, Emmett and Bernice Cagley. She is survived by her son Rob (Ellen) and her two grandchildren, Wyatt and Nate, Zürich CH. Pat is also survived by her sister, Jerri Parman, of Maupin, OR, Cousin, Clancy Oliver of Brookings, OR, Colette Cagley (Greg) of Westminster, CO, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born in San Francisco, Pat lived much of her life in Washington state, to include the past 45 years on Bainbridge Island. She was a voracious reader and lifelong student of most anything she could put her mind to and had a deep care for nature, which was best expressed through her garden. A foundation of her life on Bainbridge Island was her membership in the Bainbridge Chorale from which she made lifelong friends based on a shared passion for music. Proud of her Native American family and history, Pat was an Elder of the Siletz Confederated Nation (Southern Oregon). Her final wish is to be buried in Brookings Oregon with her ancestral family. A final act that Pat would describe from her Tribal history as “Walking on”.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook Family Funeral Home
