passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Washington. He was born on August 17, 1927 and was 88 years of age.He worked for Pope and Talbot Lumber Mill. He grew up on the Port Gamble S'Klallam Reservation, enjoyed playing baseball and later watching his son, grandchildren and then great-grandchildren play. In his later years, he loved spending time at Point Julia with his wife.Rudolph is survived by his wife Rose Purser, children: Marcelene Sparks (George), Aaron Purser and Ruth Ann Anderson. He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Rudolph Purser, Jr., former wife Ida Purser, his parents, three sisters and two brothers.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service at noon on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Port Gamble tribal gym.
