passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at her home on Bainbridge Island, Washington. She was born on February 17, 1944in Portland, Oregon. She was 69 years of age. Sallie worked at Martha and Mary in Poulsbo, WA for seven years and in her home. She was a member of the Washington Council of the Blind. Sallie enjoyed quilting, gardening, shooting pool, Harley Davidson motorcycles, country music and current events. Sallie was a Foster Parent for many years. Many of the children she took care of are now adults who became apart of the family and are passing on her passion for love of God and peace. Sallie is survived by her husband Bernardo Mapanao of Bainbridge Island, WA, children: Paul Agne of Monroe, WA, David Agne of Bremerton, WA, Dana Agne of Silverdale, WA, Daniel Agne of Bainbridge Island, WA, Sam Agne of Suquamish, WA and Tony Mapanao of Bainbridge Island, WA. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Amanda Childers of Bainbridge Island, WA Carrie Conley of Bremerton, WA, Dusty Murr of Silverdale, WA, Christopher Murr of Silverdale, WA, Dakota Murr of Silverdale, WA, Phillip Agne of Spokane, WA and Roman Agne of Poulsbo, WA. There are also six great-grandchildren. Sallie was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Telma Govevnor and her son Phillip Agne. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Celebration Service on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM at The Filipino American Community Hall on Bainbridge Island. A potluck will take place along with dancing, blue grass music, First Nation and Native American Drumming and a showing of Sallie's quilts.
