Shawnene Kelley Simmons

Shawnene Kelley Simmons, 41, of Kingston passed away on Friday July 17, 2020 at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Born in Centralia, Washington she was the daughter of Michael Wayne Simmons, Jr. and Francine (Jones) Simmons.

A proud member of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, Shawnene worked as a Family Service Assistant for Childcare, early learning and Preschool.

Shawnene is survived by her 2 beloved sons Michael and Darius along with a host of family members.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday July 22, 2020 at 3:00 PM followed by her service at 4:00 PM at the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribal Ballfield. Please note Masks are required and all social distancing will be expected.

The interment will be made following the service at the S'Klallam Tribal Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island, Washington.
