Toni Henry

March 27, 1945 — July 31, 2020

Toni Lee (Laes) Henry (1945-2020)

Toni was a remarkable woman who was loved by all who were blessed to know her. She passed away
peacefully at home on July 31st after a valiant battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Born in Bremerton, WA on
March 27, 1945, she graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1963 and was married in 1967. She was
fortunate to live in many places, have more adventures than most, and travel the world throughout her
life.

She exuded kindness and grace, and celebrated the magic of nature, from feathers to stones to sea
shells.

She showcased her artistic talents with flair. From quilting, to fashioning designing, baking and
gardening.

She loved her children with all of her heart and embraced her life experiences with absolute joy and
selflessness.

She saw the good in people, put others first, and was always available for a hug.
Even towards the end, she was fearless, funny, and flawless in her relationships with both family and
friends.

Friendships with her cousin Linda Rahman and members of the Loose Threads quilters are ever lasting.

Toni was light and sunshine and will forever and always be “Unforgettable”

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harlin and Betty (Brown)Laes), and brother Ronald Laes. She is
survived by her loving husband, David of 53 years, two children Brandi (Exarhos) and Christian, Sister
Tari Laes, son in law Chris, and granddaughters Parker and Brodie.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send your gifts of love in
memory of Toni to: The Michael J Fox Foundation (www.michaeljfox.org)

Arrangments are entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home on Bainbridge Island, WA
