84, passed away at home Nov. 6, after suffering a heart attack. He was born in Yoncalla ORE, an only child of William and Maude Gross. He graduated Yoncalla High in 1942 and soon after moved to Bremerton to start an electrician apprentice program at P.S.N.S.. During this time Bill also served in the Navy in the South Pacific during WWII. Finishing military service, he returned to work in P.S.N.S. for the next 36 years, retiring as an Electrical Supervisory Equipment Specialist.Bill met and fell in love with Lorraine Shelly of Bremerton and they were married in 1948. They enjoyed spending time at "the lake" and later traveling in their R.V. When at home, Bill was always watching sports on his big screen T.V..He is survived by Lorraine, his wife of 60 years and their 3 children: Julie Ann Danielson (Ray) of Silverdale, Bill Gross (Rise) of Poulsbo, Roger Gross of Sequim. 4 grandchildren: Will Gross (Marie) of Pt. Orchard, Christina Gross of Poulsbo, Matthew Gross of Poulsbo and Michael Gross who is presently serving an LDS mission in Phoenix AZ. 2 great grandchildren: Isabella Gross and Wil(Liam) Gross of Poulsbo.A private graveside will be held.Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial to Bill on November 15 from 2-5 in Sylvan Pines Clubhouse. 3541 Sylvan Pines Ln.
