Tony was born on October 5, 1940, in Syracuse, NY to Raymond and Margaret Cobourn. He grew up in Baldwinsville, NY with his sister Margaret. He served in the New York State National Guard from 1959 to 1965 and was a proud alumnus of Hamilton College in Clinton, NY where he was initiated into Delta Upsilon Fraternity and graduated with an AB in Economics in 1963. That same year, he married Edith Riggs Cobourn, his partner, and best friend for the last 56 years. They raised three children, Jennifer, Andrew, and Elizabeth, and are the proud grandparents of Christopher, Anna, Jameson, Ruby, Samuel, Henry, and Margaret.
