Betty Irene Erickson Poole

died peacefully in her home after a brief illness.She was born and lived her entire life on Bainbridge Island. An avid golfer, she was a member of both Wing Point Golf and Country Club and Meadowmeer Golf Club. After graduating from Bainbridge High School, she worked at I Magnin as a buyer and sales consultant. Betty is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clayton Poole; her daughter and son-in-law, Tracie and Matthew Douglas; and her grandsons Clayton and Scott Douglas.She was truly a strong woman who lived life on her own terms and will be sincerely missed.Remembrances may be given to The Betty B. Nickum Guild of Seattle Children's Hospital.
