Charles Peter Wallis

passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at His residence in Poulsbo, Washington. He was born on June 20, 1927 in Rockford, Illinois. He was 85 years of age.Charles worked as a Navy Diver for 35 years and retired in 1974. He was commended for his outstanding service as a Chief Boatswain's Mate. He earned many awards including the Presidential Unit Citation, with bronze star.He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth and his parents. Charles was a member of St. Olaf Catholic Church in Poulsbo, Washington. He loved dogs and the sea. Burial at sea will take place with Navy military honors.
