"Skip", passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Martha and Mary Health Care Services in Poulsbo, Washington. He was born on February 18, 1930 in Port Gamble, Washington. He was 81 years of age.Claude graduated from High School, attended NW Bible School and welding school. He was employed with Pope Talbot and was an Assembly of God Minister. He was a member of the S'Klallam Community Church. As a minister Claude helped many people over the years and was a man of great integrity. He enjoyed fishing, clam digging and loved his wife, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.He is survived by his wife Betty A. George, children; Carman, Linda and Doug George of Kingston, WA, his grandchildren; Doug Pullen Jr. of LaPush, WA, Debbie Payne of Kingston, Norman Jones of Kingston, LouAnne Pullen of Portland, Oregon, Dale (Angela) George of Kingston, Bridgette Woodward of Kingston, Krystyn Purser of Kingston, siblings: Mary Fulton and Charlie George of Kingston, and Louella Abrahamson of Spokane, WA, Shirley Gresham, Sandy Powers, Theodore Moran and Louis Moran. There are 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Catherine George, four brothers and four sisters.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 12 noon followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM at the Port Gamble Tribal Gym.
