On Saturday October 22, 2022, Conrado R. Diaz, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away surrounded by his family, at the age of sixty-three. He was born on May 07, 1959, in San Diego, California the son of Conrado and Suzanne (Corpuz) Diaz. As a young boy he moved with his family to Bainbridge Island where he has been a resident ever since. 


A graduate of Bainbridge Island High School Class of 1977, he went to work at the Bremerton Shipyard starting as an apprentice and working his way through the ranks to a Journeyman Painter, Supervisor, and ultimately to the position of Apprentice instructor from which he recently retired.


Conrado was a beloved husband to Brenda whom he married in 1985, a loving and caring father to his daughter Jessica and grandfather to his cherished grandchildren Ethan and Olivia. He was also be sadly missed by his loving siblings, Natie, Raymond, Willy, and Leilani, along with many other family members and friends.


He is survived by his wife Brenda Diaz, daughter Jessica Diaz, son-in-law Elvis Robinson, grandchildren Ethan and Olivia, Mother Suzanne Diaz, and siblings Natie (Jim) Nicholson, Ray (Nancy), Willy (Ann) and Leilani (Jason). He is preceded in death by his father Conrado. He will be remembered for being a loving, thoughtful, helpful, caring romantic, that enjoyed tinkering around and fixing things and cooking.


A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, November 5th, 2022, at 10:00 AM in St. Cecilia Catholic Church 1310 Madison Avenue North Bainbridge Island, WA 98110. A gathering and meal will follow immediately after at the Filipino American Community Hall 7566 High School Road NE Bainbridge Island, WA 98110.


The interment will be held privately at a later date.


Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island.
