passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at her home in Kingston, Washington. She was born on March 5, 1933 and was 79 years of age.Diane will be forever cherished and never forgotten by her family and others who knew and loved her. She has touched many lives over the years with her abundant generosity and loving spirit.Diane was born in 1933 to her parent s Mary Webster and Gilbert Fanning and passed away Feb 24th. She had fond memories and told lively stories of her childhood growing up in Indianola with her sisters Evelyn and Kathleen, attending North Kitsap High School. She had a great love for gardening and design, and if you were ever to drive over to her house on the weekend you'd usually find her digging in her garden always working to make it more colorful and beautiful. She also loved fine art, and for close to 20 years owned and operated "The Diane Gilson Gallery" in Pioneer Square.Next to her family which was the most important thing in the world to her, she was devoted to her Christian Science faith and love of God. She is survived by her husband Gordon, children Kirk and Sandra, grandchildren Taylor, Travis, Nicole and Hannah, and nieces Leslie, Julie, Marianne and Linnea as well as her extended family in Canada. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Edmonds Community Center in Edmonds, Washington, located at fourth and Bell Street.
