Earl Hanson

passed away on the evening of December 24th surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 29, 1923 to Gunnar & Ingeborg Hanson of Bainbridge Island. Earl was a WWII veteran, serving in Okinawa & Korea. In 1953 he married Norma Anderson. He retired from the Civil Service at Keyport in 1979. Earl loved his community and donated countless hours to First Lutheran Church, Sons of Norway, Nor Ski Skole & the Poulsbo Historical Society. He was blessed with 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Earl is survived by his wife of 61 years, Norma, daughters Earlene (Neil) Clark, Laurene (Meredith) Musick, & Norene (David) Reeves; grandchildren Janae (Kyle) Hansen, Mathew Clark, Amanda Clark, Mikal Reeves, Jeffrey Reeves & Ingrid Reeves, & great-grandchildren; Wyatt Hansen & Landon Reeves.A memorial/celebration of life service will be held at First Lutheran Church, in Poulsbo, on January 9th, at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Lutheran Church, Sons of Norway or the Poulsbo Historical Society.
