Evonne April Castle

passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at her home in Suquamish, Washington. She was born on March 19, to Cyrene Tooze of Little Boston, Washington, and George M. Edwards of Portland, Oregon1960 and was 48 years of age.She leaves behind a daughter, Sabrena Edwards of Little Boston; and three grandbabies, Lateesha Ranney, Colin Gregory Major and Kaylee Lenore Major, all of Little Boston.She was married to Stephen Castle on October 8, 2000.She had three sisters, Lenore Edwards, Eva Jones, both of Little Boston, and Mary Oliver of Portland, Oregon. April was preceded in death by an older brother, Ronald Edwards of Portland, Oregon.She loved being with her grandbabies. She liked jogging, walking on the beach, smoking fish, raising chickens and driving fast.Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 12:00 PM at The Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribal Center in Kingston, WA. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at the tribal cemetery.Arrangements entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home.
