G. David Kelly

December 2, 1942 — February 17, 2020

Gordon David Kelly, "David", 77, a lifelong resident of Bainbridge Island, WA., passed away suddenly on Monday, February 17, 2020. Born at home in the Rolling Bay section of Bainbridge Island, he lived in the same home his entire life. David was the son of Owen Augustus and Jennievee Isabel (Ukestad) Kelly.

David was in the Bainbridge High School Class of 1961 and always enjoyed the gatherings of Clasmates over the years.

David served his country in the US Army in Germany and Italy from 1964 to 1966, after which he returned home and went to work most of his life with the Wycoff Company at the old creosote plant at Eagle Harbor along with their plant on Elliot Bay. He also spent some years as a commercial salmon fisherman.

David was a lifetime and active member of the Port Madison Lutheran Church.

Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pat Yeo, he is survived by his brothers Don Kelly (Julie), Owen "Buster" Kelly (Maureen) and his sister Loretta Short (Dave) along with numerous nieces and nephews.

David was truly loved and missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 1:00 o'clock at Port Madison Lutheran Church 14000 N Madison Avenue NE Bainbridge Island, WA 98110.

Arrangements are entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island, WA.
