Gary Lanar Booth

A Beautiful Man, Born November 7, 1944 in Tacoma Washington and left on a great new journey on November 8, 2008.Known by many as Booth, he was sweet, kind, generous, accepting, spirited, dignified, and fun loving. He leaves a big hole in the hearts of his family and friends.Survived by his wife and soul mate of 34 years Catherine Whitson, sister Pat Kerns, daughters Andrea Burnside (Willy) and Tracy Nagy (Dan), nephew Aaron Harrington (Lorna) and their children. Other family members who will dearly miss him are Larry Whitson (Patrick), Susan Moline Whitson (Barry) and Marjorie Whitson. He was admired and appreciated by his colleagues and associates at Metro King County where he worked as a systems programmer for 30 years. Booth was a gracious host of many gatherings of friends and family and we invite you to join us for a toasting celebration of his life at Wing Point Golf and Country Club, Bainbridge Island on Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 6pm until 8pm.Memorial contributions can be made to the Housing Resources Board or a charity of choice.
