Ian Edward Armstrong

67, of Hansville, WA passed away Saturday April 14, 2018 at Harrison medical Center in Bremerton after a long illness.Born in Staten Island, NY he was the beloved son Helen A. (Picken) and John Edward Armstrong. Ian attended the local schools in Staten Island and after graduating from High School, he attended college to further his education. Ian would later move to Washington State and was employed as a Truck Driver for some local transportation companies before his retirement.A former member of the Masonic Lodge, Ian enjoyed fly fishing, but his true love was the ocean and sailing; especially Catamarans.Preceded in death by his Mother Helen, Ian is survived by his loving Father John and his sister Lori Jean Armstrong both of Hansville, WA. The Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home.
