Jacqueline Anita Namtvedt

May 17, 1929 — Sep 9, 2026

Jacqueline passed peacefully on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her two children, Michael and Joy.

Jacqueline was the smile that walked to line dancing at the senior center every Tuesday and rosary at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church every Saturday.

Jacqueline was a God-seeker. She was conscientious and always wanted to do the right thing, the godly thing, the loving thing. She was always thinking about how she could bless others. She had a sweet peace about her, even when she was anxious. She always wanted to learn more about her Christian faith by reading, going to Bible study, and jumping at every opportunity to attend spiritual retreats and classes.

She dedicated her life to serving God through prayer and service. She delivered communion to homebound church members, grew flowers for IVC’s Flowers from the Heart program, gave blood regularly, volunteered at the Crisis Pregnancy Resource Center, and dedicated ten years to volunteering at the Desert House of Prayer in Arizona. Jacqueline worked as a nurse in California and as an activity coordinator at Regency Coupeville, WA, in their memory care.

Jacqueline enjoyed activities such as camping yearly with her daughter, playing tennis, skiing, leading the walking club, and until recently, line dancing. As a friend, she was faithful, kind, never forgot a birthday, and often encouraged with a mailed note or a phone call.

Jacqueline is survived by her children Joy and Michael, grandchildren Hogan, Sydney, Isa, and David, and by her great-granddaughter, Sloane.
