James Cleveland Brice, 62, of Indianola, Washington, passed away at his home on May 24, 2025. Born in Magnolia, Arkansas, on April 9, 1963, James lived a life defined by service, strength, and deep love for his family.
He proudly served 20 years in the United States Navy, beginning in law enforcement and later specializing as an Inertial Navigation Set Technician. He received numerous honors, including the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, and multiple Sea Service Deployment Ribbons. After retiring from the Navy, he worked as an electrician at the Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington.
On April 21, 2005, James married the love of his life, Lorraine Brice. Together they built a blended family filled with love. James was a devoted husband, a proud father, a steady guiding figure, and beloved grandfather. He had a big personality, a sharp wit, and a deep loyalty to those he loved.
He is survived by his children:
Jacqueline A. Jenkins, Daniel Charles, Frederick Brice, Lorilee Morsette, Danielle Morsette, Jonathan Morsette,
Grandchildren: Paizley Nicole Brice, McKenzi Noel Brice, Kiomi Pavlock, Niomi Pavlock, Kaleo Nahanee, Mila J. Bagley-Morsette.
He is also survived by his niece, Michaela L. Ramirez, along with many other nieces, nephews, and extended relatives who loved him dearly.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Rosie Lee Brice, and by his son, Daniel W. Morsette Jr.
