Jeffrey Richard Holland

September 13, 1953 – March 21, 2022

Jeffrey Richard Holland of Bainbridge Island, WA passed away on March 21, 2022, due to complications from heart surgery.

Jeffrey had a 41-year career working for the Department of Defense, including the Trident Refit Facility at Naval Submarine Base Bangor, and most recently as a Branch Head at NUWC Division at Keyport. He is remembered not only for the depth of knowledge he brought to the mission but also for his wisdom in mentoring others.

Jeffrey married his wife Margo in 1986 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. They were married until her death in January 2021. They loved traveling the world together and spending time with family and friends. Jeff was an avid bowler and golfer for many years. He enjoyed gardening, good music, and fine wine.

Jeffrey is survived by Margo’s children, Christine Araneda (Pete), Joel Williams (Angela), grandchildren Derek Goodall (Jessica), Matthew Goodall, Sean Williams, and Sophie Williams, and great-grandchildren Cherish and Serenity Goodall.

He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Bruce E. Holland, Pamela Holland DeNardo, and Lauryl Holland Surowiec as well as his loving nieces and nephews.

Jeff will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and colleagues. Our hope is that he and Margo are together again, heading off on some new adventure.
