Lena Rose Tunkara
April 22, 1983 — August 19, 2021
On Thursday, August 19th, 2021 Lena Rose Tunkara, 38, passed away at St. Michales Medical Center in Silverdale, WA. Lena was born in Bremerton, WA on April 22nd, 1983, and was the daughter of Curtis M. Hanna and Susan Carpenter. After receiving her bachelor's degree, Lena worked as a foster care coordinator for the S'Klallam Tribe. Lena is survived and missed by her husband, Haji Tunkara, her children and foster children, as well as all her family and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island, WA.
