Marylynne Sirutis

Marylynne Sirutis passed away peacefully July 16th at home on Bainbridge Island. She was 79-years old.

Marylynne was born in New York, grew up in Massachusetts, and lived in California before moving to Bainbridge in 1972. In her 50+ years on Bainbridge she dedicated herself to raising her family; worked as a teachers assistant, including years at the Island School; and worked various jobs (from Asian Antiques to Zamboanga) favoring garden centers and art galleries.

She will be remembered for her loving devotion to her family and friends, for her hospitality (especially her cooking); and for the beauty she surrounded herself with (including gardening and knitting/sewing fabulous creations).

Marylynne is survived by her sons, Michael and Sean, and her three grandchildren. We will miss you forever.
