He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication and spent many years as a mill at a sawmill, where he was respected and beloved by his colleagues. Throughout his life, Melvin embodied the values of hard work and integrity, serving in the US Army. His commitment to his craft was reflected not only in the quality of his work but also in the relationships he built along the way. Melvin was a cherished father to Chad Sullivan and a proud grandfather and other family members. His family meant the world to him, and he took great joy in sharing moments with them, whether through stories of his past or laughter during family gatherings. The warmth of his love and the wisdom he imparted will forever remain a part of their lives.
