Osha Marie Hagen-Major, lovingly known as Osh-B-Gosh and Gramma O, journeyed to the Spirit World on November 19, 2025, at the age of 49. She was born on February 16, 1976, in Bremerton, Washington, and made her home in Suquamish, where she was deeply rooted in family, culture, and community.
Osha was the daughter of Doug and Phillis Hagen and the beloved sister of Josh (Star) and Breanna. She was a fiercely devoted mother to her children: Kallana, Eric, Nassyaha, Dayton, Dakota, Presley, Payton, and Taylor. She was also the proud and joy-filled grandmother of Zion, Anthony, Charlie, Elliot, Zaylen, and Jeremiah, and auntie to her nephews, Bronson and Brennon. Her love for her family was loud, unwavering, and expressed with every bit of fire and laughter she carried.
Osha lived her life with intensity, grit, and a full heart. Whatever work she did, she did it with everything she had. She was known for her bold spirit, her unmatched humor, her unapologetic personality, and her ability to make anyone laugh—even in the hardest moments. She would give the shirt off her back without hesitation and claimed every baby in her presence as her own. To know her was to know someone fiercely protective, deeply loving, and absolutely unforgettable.
Spiritually grounded, Osha found connection in the garden, in sweat lodge prayer ceremonies, and in caring for the land and those around her. Her energy filled any room she entered—fierce, funny, inappropriate in all the best ways, and always proud of her kids, her grandkids, and her family.
Her family will forever remember her words that summed up her spirit best: “Oh, f* yeah, bud!”**
A Celebration of Life for Osha will be held on December 1st at 11:30 AM at Kiana Lodge in Suquamish, Washington. All who loved her are welcome to come share stories, laughter, and remembrance.
Donations to support the family can be made through the GoFundMe link shared on Facebook.
