Ryann Marie (Garrett) Saenz
May 26, 1978 - January 13, 2020
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Daughter, Wife, Sister, and Mother Ryann Marie (Garrett) Saenz, 41, on January 13, 2020. She was surrounded by her family and friends and encapsulated in Love.
Ryann was born to Kenneth and Shelley Garrett at Saint Elizabeth Community Hospital in Baker City, OR on May 26, 1978, where the family resided for a few years until relocating to Kitsap County. Ryann graduated from North Kitsap High school in 1996. Ryann loved all sports and was a loyal and loving fan of her Seattle Seahawks! She played soccer from the age of six and was a fierce competitor, great teammate, and co-captain of her high school team during her sophomore and junior year.
Ryann spent her years raising her beautiful daughter Victoria who was the center of her life. Ryann was a huge part of her daughter's choir program throughout her high school years, volunteering all 4 years where many fond memories were made. Then on August 29, 2015, she joined hands with Justin Saenz the man of her dreams and together they were her complete little family.
When Ryann was fifteen, she came to Portland, OR to spend some of her summer with her Dad Kenny and stepmother Arlene. After being there two days her Dad asked her if she wanted to go up the hill to the Berty Farm and get some fresh berries. Upon arriving they got out of the car and her Dad asked the old farmer if he was hiring, whereby, he answered he was and was her Dad looking? Her Dad said, "no I’m not, but she is!" Ryann was hired. While getting back in the car she asked her Dad “what the hell was that?” Her Dad said, "Raspberries, Welcome to the taxpayer's world!"
Go forth Ryann on golden wings as your uncles, aunts and grandparents wait with open arms, beautiful smiles and a new world full of laughter!!
Ryann leaves behind her loving Husband Justin, beautiful Daughter Victoria, her Father & Stepmother Ken & Arlene Garrett, her Mother and Stepfather Arthur & Shelley Wood, her Brother Michael and Sister-In-Law Jenn Garrett as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. She will be forever missed for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh and her compassion for all people.
Ryann was preceded in death by her Grandparents John and Delores Crowell of Suquamish, WA and Harlan and Mayme Garrett of Baker City, OR. Five of her Garrett Uncles and four of her Garrett Aunts who all loved her dearly.
