Theresa M. Emery

our "Mother Theresa" passed away due to liver complications on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Martha and Mary Healthcare Services in Poulsbo, Washington. She was born on November 9, 1929 in Collinsville, Connecticut and was 83 years of age.Raised in N.Y. Theresa married Robert Emery, raised 3 children before they retired in 1977 to Florida.In 1988, Theresa's "Special Girl" granddaughter Kris was born and they bonded for life enjoying scrapbooking, playing "Skippo" for hours until poor health in 2008 brought them to Washington to live with "Aunt Carol".Theresa's second proudest moment was "graduating" from Hospice and getting her drivers license back! The "3 Emery Girls" were able to travel and live a 5 year bonus.Survivors include son Bill Emery- grandson Alex both of Austin, TX. and daughter Carol Emery-grandaughter Kris both of Bainbridge Island.Our family appreciates the loving care ofthe Martha and Mary facility these past 17 months.
